Ingredients for 4 persons

  • 1 fresh egg yolk (size M)
  • 1 tbsp TOMAMI No.2 🛒
  • salt
  • ground pepper
  • approx. 150 ml mild cooking oil, e.g. safflower or germ oil
  • optional: 100 g sour cream/sour cream and sugar

Preparation

Mix the egg yolk and TOMAMI No.2 🛒 with a little salt and pepper in a tall mixing bowl.

Add the oil drop by drop and stir in with a mixer (beaters), then stir in a thin stream. (The more oil you stir in, the thicker the mayonnaise will be.)

Season the mayonnaise to taste with salt and pepper.

The sauce goes well with grilled meat or fish. For a light mayonnaise, stir in sour cream.

Season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar, and garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley.
