Tomami-Onions

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PERSONS

• 500 g onions
• 40 g butter
• 6 tbsp. honey
• salt & pepper
• 2 tbsp. Tomami Umami
• fresh thyme

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut the onions in half lengthwise, then into strips. Heat the butter and honey in a frying pan, add the onions and thyme, season with salt and pepper and fry at medium temperature stirring occasionally for about 2 minutes. Deglaze with Tomami Umami and leave to infuse at the lowest temperature for 5 minutes. Enjoy either hot or cold, e.g on slices of bread, with grilled dishes, for the antipasti buffet …
