# TIMEOUT COOKING: BAKED BEANS
INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PERSONS
1 large onion
Salt
Oil
1 clove of garlic
1 tsp. sweet paprika powder
50 g TOMAMI Ketchup
1-3 tsp. TOMAMI Chili + Ginger Hot Sauce (spicy to fiery hot)
400 ml tin of chopped tomatoes
1 can of white beans (approx. 580 g drained weight)
8 slices of bacon
8 mini sausages
4 eggs (M)
4 toast rolls/toasties
butter
INSTRUCTIONS
Peel, finely dice and salt the onion. Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a large coated pan and fry the onions until golden brown (with the lid on). Peel the garlic, grate finely and stir into the onions. Dust with paprika powder and season with TOMAMI Ketchup and TOMAMI Chili + Ginger Hot Sauce. Deglaze with 200 ml of water, stir in the chopped tomatoes.
Bring to a boil. Drain the beans in a sieve and stir in. Bring to a boil, season with salt, cover and simmer gently for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Put a plate into the oven and heat the oven to 80 degrees. Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a second pan; fry the bacon until crispy and put on the plate in the oven to keep warm.
Fry the sausages in bacon fat for 6-8 minutes and also keep warm in the oven.
Break the eggs into the pan and fry; season with salt. At the same time toast the toasties and spread lightly with butter. Serve the beans, bacon, sausages and toasties with TOMAMI Ketchup and TOMAMI Chili + Ginger Hot Sauce.
Suggestion: Serve with fried mushrooms and / or fried tomato halves
Alternative seasoning: You can give the beans a slightly smoky note with a little smoked salt or smoked paprika powder.
Preparation time: 35 minutes
