OVEN-BAKED GREEK FETA
INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PERSONS
250 g feta cheese
1 jar of white beans (425 g net weight)
1 red onion
5 tbsp. olive oil
1 clove of garlic
1 tomato
4 tbsp. TOMAMI # 1
2-3 mild green pepperoni per person (jar)
3-4 black olives without stones per person
A handful of rocket leaves
Freshly gound black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Cut the feta in half crosswise, then cut into 4 pieces and place in a casserole dish. Drain the beans into a sieve and rinse with cold water. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Peel the onion and garlic, cut the onion into fine slices and fry lightly in a pan in hot oil. Add the beans. Finely grate the garlic and stir into the pan.
Grate the tomato roughly and add to the pan with the TOMAMI; stir in the peppers and olives, allow to bubble up once and pour over the feta. Put into the hot oven, on the 2nd rack for 12-15 minutes. Meanwhile wash the rocket leaves, spin dry and serve on top of the dish. Add some freshly ground pepper.
Tip:
The oven feta makes a delicious meal for 2 persons, e.g. served with pita bread.
Or it makes a nice side dish for four with a salad and / or grilled lamb chops.
