MEDITERRANEAN PORK STEAKS

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PERSONS

2 potatoes, pre-cooked
100 g sour cream
1 bunch of chives
1 tomato, cut into small cubes
100 g diced bacon
200g grated cheese (Emmentaler)
Olive oil
Salt and pepper
BBQ rub garlic + herbs or a spice mixture of your choice
4 neck steaks 250g each
Marinade for the steaks
4 tbsp TOMAMI # 1 (buy here (https://shop.tomami.eu/produkt/tomami-1-umami-

1 tbsp olive oil
Salt + pepper
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 teaspoon herbs de Provence
1 clove of garlic
1 can of pureed tomatoes
1 sprig of rosemary

INSTRUCTIONS

Hollow out the potatoes. Mix the sour cream with the olive oil, the diced tomato and the diced bacon. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Put the mixture into the potatoes, cover with cheese and bake in the grill (indirect heat) at 180 degrees.

Put the ingredients for the marinade in a cast pan or saucepan and stir well. Briefly heat and bring to the boil. Put the steaks into the warm marinade and cook at 150 degrees for about 15 minutes. Turn the steaks over in between. Then grill the steaks over direct heat at approx. 180-200 degrees or fry them briefly in a pan until the steaks develop a crust.

Brush the marinade evenly on both sides. Arrange the potatoes and steaks onto plates and pour the rest of the marinade over the steaks.
