HALLOUMI CHEESE SKEWERS

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PERSONS

For the sauce:
Juice of 1/2 lemon
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. TOMAMI Toscana
2 teaspoons Tahini (sesame sauce)
1/2 teaspoons agave juice
1/2 tbsp. Oregano
Pinch of salt and cayenne pepper

200 g Halloumi cheese
4 tablespoons of sesame seeds
Cherry tomatoes
Wooden skewers

Optional:
Roasted / grilled pointed peppers
Olives

INSTRUCTIONS

Stir all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl until smooth.
Dice the Halloumi cheese. Then brush the cheese cubes thinly with the Tahini sauce.
Spread 3 – 4 tablespoons of sesame seeds on a baking sheet and cover the cheese cubes with sesame seeds by turning them over on each side.
Then place the cheese cubes alternately on skewers with cherry tomatoes.
Cook the skewers either in a pan in a small amount of fat or on the grill.
Finally, arrange the Halloumi cheese skewers while still hot with the roasted or grilled
pointed peppers and olives on plates; drizzle with the remaining Tahini sauce.
