Moink balls with Tomami
Ingredients for 4 persons
• 1.5 kg minced beef
• 50 slices of bacon
• Tomami Tomato
• 25 cheese cubes to taste
• 4 tbsp. BBQ rub (e.g. Cherry Chipotle from „Ankerkraut“)
• BBQ sauce for glazing (e.g. No 1 BBQ sauce from „Der Ludwig“)
Season the minced meat with the BBQ rub, add a few dashes of Tomami Tomato and mix well. Make 25 balls out of the minced meat, each weighing approx. 60 g. Fill the balls with the cheese cubes and close them. Spread the bacon strips crosswise over the meatballs. Grill indirectly at 180-200 °C (approx. 15-20 minutes). Shortly before the end of the grill time, glaze the moink balls with BBQ sauce so it can caramelize.
